A Hand To Remember

Ahhh what fun the game of poker is. . .

I'm sitting on the button, with A2 offsuit. 1 caller UTG and 2 more players fold to me. I'd been playing really tight all night and thought it would be the perfect time to bluff. Raised it 5x the blinds, with the SB quickly calling and BB folding. UTG thinks about it for a second and then calls with about 1/6 of his chips. Flop comes K 10 10 and its checked to me. I bet out another 8x the blinds and the SB calls. I immediately put him on a K as he's a rather aggressive player when he's got the nuts. UTG takes a minute and thinks again before calling. I'm thinking he's got a open ended straight draw and is doing some fishing. Great. Fish some more and I'll make him fold on the next turn when he doesn't catch it.

So the turn is a 2. Fantastic. Board is rainbow so no flush draws in sight. SB checks and UTG checks as well. Time to make a move. Poker face. . . Poker face. 12x the blind bet with my 3 10s ;). SB thinks and folds his K. Time for UTG to do some more thinking.

So I look over and he's got less than 2x my bet. Dammit, shoulda noticed I guess. If he calls, he's all in no matter what on the river. . . should have bet more to really make him think. Couple more thoughts and he makes the call. I must be leading out right into a trap. He has to be all in on the river.

River comes 4. He checks.

Whhhaaa? No all in? WTF? Just another couple of bucks, let's put him all in. Of course he calls. SB immediately admits to folding a K, looks to me having the magical 10 and UTG as having a K. Boy was he wrong.

UTG turns over 4 5 offsuit. Yup. A 4 and a 5 to take the pot with 10s over 4s and a K kicker. Man, apparently there is some great fishing in the Seattle area.
